fibrevision are the worlds leading manufacturer of Sensors and On Line Monitoring equipment for the synthetic fibre industry, with an unrivalled portfolio of products and almost 1,000,000 threadlines of Monitoring operating worldwide.

fibrevision were established in Macclesfield, England in 1995 under the leadership of Managing Director Malcolm Hinchliffe together with a dedicated team of engineering personnel, all of whom have long experience in the synthetic fibre industry.

fibrevision’s key competence is the ability to bring together an unrivalled process application knowledge together with sensor technology, signal processing expertise and software to provide both OEMs and End Users with the market leading and cost effective products for all synthetic fibre measurement, monitoring and dynamic testing applications. 

Over the last 15 years fibrevision have grown both organically and by acquisition.

Organic growth has been achieved with key development of key Instruments and Monitoring products

        • FibreScan, MicroScan Initially introduced in 1995, established new standards in dynamic testing of yarns, particularly in the characterisation of both Interlace and Package Unwinding as well as QC At-Line measurements for Spin Finish and Interlace.
        • FibreTQS Initially introduced in 2000, for POY with on line measurement of Interlace, Broken Filaments, Spin Finish and Tension. This has been followed by applications for FDY, T+I, BCF, ATY and Spandex.

        • Fraytec The market leading Broken Filament Monitoring system, originally developed by Enka and more recently sold by Heberlein - acquired in 2008,
        • Unitens The market leading Tension Monitoring system for DTY, developed by Barmag and sold as an integrated system on their machines - acquired in 2008
        • WinOLT + ZKS Sensors leading retro solution for Tension Monitoring and the original OLT system – acquired. in 2009
        • Tensotex a range of advanced Tension sensors developed by Electrotex and more recently sold by Heberlein - acquired in 2009
        • Captex + Optotex Market leading range of Yarn Break Sensors developed by Electrotex and more recently sold by Heberlein - acquired in 2009
